Hollywood studios make approximately 3,000 films annually. That's right, three thousand!

These films are marketed by Hollywood, which spends billions of dollars. They spend millions producing them. They also spend millions promoting them. But how many do you think actually end up getting released into theaters?

The answer is probably around 200-300. What happens to the 2,700+ additional films? They are either distributed as direct-to–video releases or simply left in storage.

Not all of them will be undiscovered. Some have been chosen for distribution via Netflix or Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and iTunes, Google Play and other platforms.

So why don't we see more of them? They are not being released in theaters. They're too costly to produce.

They'd also be cheaper to produce and released in theaters.

That's where my expertise comes in. I will help you find the best possible way to release your film in theaters.

I'll show you how to maximize your return on investment (ROI) and increase your chances of seeing your movie in theaters.

Let's face it, we all know...

It can be challenging to get your film into theaters. This process can be complicated, lengthy, and filled with legalities.

It can also come at a high cost before you even begin.

Even worse, your window of opportunity to distribute your film is very limited.

There's not enough time between the moment a film is completed and its theatrical debut.

How To

How to get a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame

In 1960, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce created the Hollywood Walk of Fame (HWOF). The HWOF is located in Los Angeles at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard. It has 2,711 stars embedded in the Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk. Each star represents someone who contributed to motion pictures, television, radio, theater, music, or some aspect of popular culture. The HWOF currently has 1,922 listed living people.

To become a member of HWOF you will need to submit your name at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. This submits your name then to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. Once approved, a certificate will be sent to you stating that you are eligible. This includes your name as well as date of birth and the city where you live. You also receive a bronze plaque with your name engraved on it. This plaque is attached on a concrete base at the star.

If you were nominated by an HWOF member, or if there are significant contributions made to the entertainment, film, radio, theatre, and music industries, you may be eligible for a "star" award. A committee reviews the nominations and determines whether they should be approved. If they do, they send a letter to the applicant's home address explaining their decision. A second letter confirms acceptance if the nominee accepts the nomination. The applicant then pays $25 to the Hollywood Chamber of commerce, which forwards the money to the City of Los Angles Department of Cultural Affairs.

The department issues an official check payable to Hollywood Chamber of commerce. This check is then sent to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Foundation. The foundation pays the applicant or organization. The fee is then paid to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce at $12.50. The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs receives the remaining half.

Once the artist has received his/her star, he/she becomes eligible to be included in the HWOF. To be eligible for the HWOF, the artist must pay the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce any balance. The amount due will depend on when you were first nominated. For example, $15,000. Suppose you were first nominated as a nominee in 1990. For example, if your first nomination was in 1990, you would owe $15,000. However, if it had been in 1980, you would owe 10,000.

Contact the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to get your name removed from the HWOF and to repay any outstanding debts. They will take care of removing your name from the list permanently.

How old does one have to get a star on the HWOF?

To be nominated, one must be at least 18 years. To receive a coveted star, one must be at least 18 years old. After receiving a star, one may still be nominated again after ten years.

What happens if I die before my star gets put up?

Nominating you can be done by family members. If no relatives are living, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce may place a memorial stone in front of your star.

Why can't we just choose a different street and not have stars all over?

The HWOF was not created to be a historical landmark. It is intended to honor all those who have made film history possible.

What happened to the stolen stars? The thieves took approximately 1,200 stars. Each star weighs between 250 and 300 lbs. This makes it approximately 4 tons!
